Everything You Need to Know About Secure CGC Submissions.

Exordium 6, LLC is a CGC Authorized Dealer that provides secure, personal transport of trading cards and comic books to and from Certified Guaranty Company (CGC). Your collectibles are never mailed and never handled by third-party carriers. Items remain in our direct possession from pick-up through return.

Traditional submissions rely on postal or third-party shipping services. Our service eliminates shipping risks by offering hand-delivered transport, controlled handling, and insured custody while items are in our possession. This is ideal for high-value, sentimental, or hard-to-replace collectibles. 

No. Items are not mailed, shipped, or subcontracted at any time. All transport is completed personally by Exordium 6. 

Your items are handled exclusively by Exordium 6 during transport and by CGC during grading. No other parties are involved. 

Yes. Exordium 6 carries liability insurance under its LLC that covers loss or damage while items are in our direct possession during transport.

Insurance coverage does not apply while items are held or processed by CGC.

Once submitted, CGC takes possession of your items for grading, encapsulation, and processing. At that point, CGC’s policies and timelines apply. Exordium 6 is not responsible for grading outcomes or delays caused by CGC. 

The expected turnaround time is 60 days or less, depending on CGC’s current processing volume. While we make every reasonable effort to meet this estimate, timelines are ultimately controlled by CGC.

• Autographed trading cards (with optional JSA authentication)
• Modern comic books
• Vintage comic books
• Autographed comic books (with optional JSA authentication)
   

If you are unsure whether your item qualifies, feel free to contact us before scheduling a pickup.

JSA (James Spence Authentication) verifies the authenticity of autographs on trading cards and comics. If your item is signed and not already authenticated, JSA services are required prior to CGC submission.

JSA authentication can be added to eligible items for an additional fee.

 Yes. Items that already include valid JSA authentication may be submitted directly to CGC under the appropriate service tier. 

No. Exordium 6 does not perform cleaning, pressing, or restoration services. All items are submitted to CGC in the condition they were submitted in.

Clients are responsible for ensuring items are properly protected prior to pickup. This may include sleeves, top loaders, semi-rigid holders, or appropriate comic book bags and boards.

We also recommend retaining photos or documentation of items prior to submission for your own records.

All service fees must be paid prior to item pickup, unless otherwise agreed to in writing.

Once your items are submitted to CGC, feel free to reach out to Exordium 6 to obtain submission status.

CGC is solely responsible for grading, encapsulation, and handling while items are in their possession. Any claims related to grading or processing must be addressed directly with CGC.

While items are in Exordium 6’s possession, they are covered under our liability insurance. In the rare event of loss or damage during transport, claims will be handled according to our insurance coverage and service agreement. 

CGC is located in Sarasota, Florida.
